While not only are they bad luck for your back, but there's always a risk of getting it popped. It's a full size and it's wonderful. It folds down to about the size of a sleeping bag and has a handy drawstring bag it fits inside.. We've used it numerous times for family and other guests. I slept on it while I was pregnant very, very comfortable...! It cost just under $300 but, worth it.. It takes regular full/queen size sheets and has a firmness adjuster as well as a plug in pump and it deflates very quickly.. We love ours.. None have been comfortable or practical. If you need extra sleeping space get a thin mattress or a twin mattress or bunk bed mattress. Anything but an air mattress.
