should i use a bed or air mattress in guest room when people spend night?

debating on getting an actual bed or a good air mattress for my guest room. Im single and live alone in 2 bedroom and will have family members and guests spending nights. should i buy a queen size air mattress or buy an actual bed?

Some thing else to think about is the age of your guests. For the older people it’s harder for them to stoop down getting in and out of of an air mattress.
But on the other hand if your a camper they’re nice for sleeping on while camping.
You can easily roll it up and store it just about anywhere when guests come and use the room for something more useful like a study and have more room in it.
Your going to have to think of what you want the extra room for when not being used by guest and go from there.
Air mattress are not that bad to sleep on for a few days.
If the need really comes to it you could sleep on the mattress and give your bed to the guest.

If you can afford it, I’d go with an actual bed. My dad finally took the plunge to get a real bed for his guest room, after years of air-mattresses. A real bed is much more comfortable! If you plan on having guests often and really care about making them comfortable, then I’d go with the real bed. If you need the room for other purposes which would make the portability of an airbed more practical, then that’s something to consider as well. g

For your quests a real mattress is more comfortable. What is better for you depends on how you want to use the room. A real queen bed will limit the options. There are good sleep sofa systems available – expensive but perhaps worth it. Again, it depends on your own personal needs.
