Whats the best way to keep a hole out of an air bed?

Never had an air bed and I just wanna know the best way to keep it from getting holes

make sure its extra thick and not a cheapie,clear object from around u when inflating and laying it down and also when packing it up.I store mine in the vacuum storage bags when finished,they also come with repair kit so buy a spare.

    Watch where you lay it and cover it with a mattress pad
