Has anyone used a air mattress as their mattress instead of a standared mattress?

If so , pleas tell me your experience with your air mattress. Also, can you give the brands and model if you know it so that I can avoid or purcharse an air mattress.

A number of years ago I used one of the "sleep number" air mattresses(can’t remember actual brand name, just the slogan). I found I didn’t like how it felt and got rid of it. Some people really swear by the air mattresses, though. Guess it’s a matter of opinion. Currently I have a Simmons Back Care mattress and like it better than anything else I’ve tried.

An air mattress can cost anywhere from $50 to $1200, depending on the size, quality and comfort of the mattress that you want. Lower prices do not necessarily provide the same style and comfort as the more expensive ones. Besides you may not get the 30-day exchange or refund option, if you buy the cheaper variety. The price will depend on the features of the mattress you buy.
