Fire Making on a Rainy Day

Day 2. I hike back out to my camp in pouring rain to attempt to build a fire. This video is shot after 72 + hours of continuous rainfall. I was glad to have the opportunity to practice this essential skill in these conditions.

    groà Ÿ it vid. sadly on their otherï⠀ œ  thought ¿ side I, you said that the cotton in the white spirits was getränkt. but. Vaseline. really. I learned straight something, going to thanks into trying. but i-still thing white spirits tränkte cotton balls, or the 3in of squares of the gauze wà ¼ rden also, plus it wà ¼ rden serves a 2nd purpose. work. First FIRST ASSISTANCE. ⠀ ¦ going into trying some these different ideas. Owing to fà ¼ r vids, you have a good attitude and good ideas.

    Impact force fire steel!!! I have one of those!! They work very well also!

    I lit up many fires withï ¿ pit. I try not to use the small scales which come into the handle. The sparks, which get off the steel, ignite bright flaumiges material, therefore I save the scale for urgencies.

    Where was your ESBIT furnace?? As if beï ¿ a good time became to use it on the migration??

    @DEAMONATOR you are you saying really think Iï⠀ œ  ¿ used brighter Flà ¼ ssigkeit or joking? I wasn& #039; t sure. I can do you, the only one insure think you that I was a cotton ball used, to itself the sparks of firesteel for getting caught. That is, why I à ¼ more ber the Strikefore as much b/c rave, which throws it to such one groà Ÿ e shower of the sparks. Brighter Flà ¼ ssigkeit wà ¼ rde only means purpose on this trip missed. I wouldn& #039; t möchten themselves betrà ¼ towards, or are dishonest with my friends or participants.
