this is just a few (most) of the things I’m brining on my trip to Peppersauce Cave next weekend, a few more things I’m bringing are:
windproof lighter
glow sticks
head lamp
flashlight
and my homemade knife (i might make video on this later)
beef jerky
firesteel w/ magnesium
pen and paper
hard candy (for energy)
gatorade
jacket
hot dogs and buns
hat
bigger towel
plastic bags (waterproofing stuff)
anti venom
mini firesticks
tums
candle
several lighters

i actually dont use …
i actually dont use this one anymore, my latest video is about my new backpack, and almost everything i put in there is waterproof so it shouldnt matter.

i i ditched my …
i i ditched my denim sleeping bag for a significantly lighter poly something or other one. and this video is very dated. my new pack is much better, albeit weighing in at about 40 lbs. Equip2Endure mentioned me in one of his videos!

a fixed blade knife? pssshh, i got the mother of all fixed blade knives, the cold steel 12 inch bowie machete. i never go into the mountains without it! its lovely.

you have the right ideal, just need to up grade on the equipment.
the more u camp the more u will find out what workes for u.

yea, i brought a sharpened WW2 shovel and that served as an axe, and a decent noise maker when a bobcat entered our area!
that was creepy!
and i didnt pack the sharpener, because the one i have is one of those fragile ones and my knives i brought were usable, i sharpened them the night before
