im hiking the kettle valley rail(Princeton to penticton) its about 100km any advice gear food ect?

That depends how long you are planning on taking. 100 km isn’t that far so what gear you take matters less. I would recommend getting the lightest stuff you can feel every extra pound. Also for food I would recommend not buying the typical hiking food. You can get food that works great and doesn’t cost as much. I am hiking the PCT this year and so far I have done over 1000 miles. We are eating lots of instant mashed potatoes and stuff like that.
