   i do carry a fixed …
   i do carry a fixed blade knife sometimes…
   when i’m out hiing i don’t always make a fire …so i really don’t need a fixed blade knife ,but i do carry one from time to time
   and i have a folding saw that i carry sometimes also…all depends on where i’m going…and if i’m camping more than hiking

   i’m going to do a new updated video this week …my pack changed alot since even the last video i did

   no fixed blade …
   no fixed blade knife? no saw? you must just depend completely on just gathering wood without ever processing it. i would never go in the woods without a good knife.. i would rather have 1 6-9 inch fixed blade knife then everything you have in that bag if i had to choose

   That was pretty informative. How much does your pack typically weigh? Also, the lighting was a bit dark for detail. All in all, a good vid!

   Though I haven’t done much instructional yet, I do have some site vids on Hikers World. It’s amazing what you can see up in the mountains. Thanks a bunch and good luck to ya!

   New proposed rules from the U S Customs will broaden the definitions of illegal knives to include all Knife’s that can be opened with one hand which will in effect ban ALL pocket knives nationwide that can be opened with one hand please go to AKTI before June 18, to help prevent this, the only contribution asked of you is your voice

    i like to carry …
    i like to carry more than one knife while hiking due to the fact i’v broke the only one i had once and didn’t have one for the rest of the trip…so now i carry 3 the extra 1 oz is worth it to me
