Is ‘duo’ a good name for a clothing store? (please read)?

March 19th, 2010 | by admin |

we may open a clothing store and need a name. it is men’s and women’s and half of the store is dresses and casual clothes and the other half is outdoor clothing. is duo good? or is puzzles better? PLEASE SUGGEST!!!!!!!!!!!

Duo is a great name for a clothing store. It seems quite cool yet sounds professional (in some unexplainable manner), both of which make it sound like a fashionable nightclub rather than a shop. The key to capitalising on such a charismatic name would be to stock some items which are: a) Hard to find. b) Slightly odd. c) Make your store stand out from the crowd (there are plenty of GAP-alikes out there). Essentially what I am saying is that ‘Duo’ would give you a great opportunity to create an individualistic identity for your business.

It doesn’t sound right. I would have no idea of what you sell there. Something like Everywear would be better

    puzzles is bad.

    try…

    deux fois (two both, french)

    twee beide (two both, dutch)

    zwei beide (two, both, German)

entrambi i due (two both, Italian)

    dwa obu ( " ", polish)

    idkk. or use

les hommes et les femmes (both men and women, french)

personnes en plein air (outdoors people, french)

i like des vĂȘtements pour deux (clothes for two, french)
