Southeastern Expeditions Chattooga River Rafting

September 8th, 2010 | by admin |

A day out for Jason and Mark at the Chattooga River with the help of Southeastern Expeditions. It was a great day out and a good chance to try out the Olympus Stylus 770SW and it’s waterproof abilities.

That pothole is on section IV at Raven’s Chute, river right. There is also another one that is just below the chute on river left, just to the left of the end of the rapid, also a lot of fun, but they don’t usually take guided trips through that one. Be careful swimming through potholes if you aren’t absolutely sure that they are clear and swimmable though. ;)

i enjoyed watching, brought back memories. Five of my co-workers and i from Mark Pirtle Cadillac in Murfreesbor TN took the trip in 94′. Awesome experience, absoulutely priceless. I was an expecting father. I remember the night before really pondering the future of being a father, so the memories are so vivid. I just took my son on his second canoeing trip at crazy horse on the buffalo river. I’ve told him about the whitewater experience and i’m looking foreward to returning with him.

He’s a super cool dude. We were so happy we got him as our guide down the river. I think we had the best fun of the lot, and we even flipped on the last rapid.
